Brunch Bunch Vision Statement

The Brunch Bunch started December, 2010 out of a need for weekday rides.  Many riders were retired and the weekends are when they had visitors come to their homes.  The mid-week  rides also are less crowded and rates for overnight trips are less expensive.

In part, because of the ages of the riders a formal structure was not needed or desirable.  There are no officers, road captains, etc… in this group.  We are like minded friends who enjoy riding.  We take full responsibility for ourselves and our safety.  By the same token we don’t ride faster than the overall ability of the group.

The scheduled rides are usually 100 to 200 miles round trip, however there are overnight trips that are at 400 miles one way.  Breaks on the road are at 75 to 100 mile intervals for hydration and walking off any fatigue.  Each ride has a Lead/Sweep, and we ride in a staggered formation for safety.

Because we are an open group there is no preference on what make of motorcycle is ridden, run what you brung.  The overall objective is to have fun on the ride.

In May of 2013 impromptu weekend rides were added and the response has been well received.  The rides are shorter and it gives riders another opportunity to get out on the road.

In short, the Brunch Bunch is not a club, no dues, no officers, no paperwork, no egos, just ride and have fun with like minded friends.
